Julie Keeps Quiet

3rd March 2026

By Koen De Bouw | Belgium | 2025 | 1h 37’ | English | 12A

The star player at an elite youth tennis academy, Julie trains hard, fixated on making it into the Belgian Tennis Federation. When her coach is suspended following the suicide of a female protégée, everyone at the academy is encouraged to speak up about their experiences with him. Julie, however, decides to keep quiet and her persistent silence begins to speak volumes. The film respectfully and empathetically examines why some victims choose to remain silent.

"A tense, taut, artfully hushed debut feature", Variety
